In 2010 viewers got their first look at these adorable little yellow guys, who were sidekicks in the animated film “Despicable Me.” In 2013 they returned in “Despicable Me 2.” Now they carry the entire movie as the stars of this fun little film. There are definitely unintentional comedic scenes as the trio finds themselves the center of attention. She wants them to steal the Queen of England’s crown. She has something special in mind for this trio of yellow followers. ![]() They set their sights on Scarlet Overkill (voiced by Sandra Bullock). Then they learn about a villain convention in Orlando and decide that is where they will find their new master. This is perhaps one of the most memorable scenes. In New York they set up camp for a night in a department store. Joined by rebellious Stuart and little Bob, they venture out into the world. Kevin tells everyone he is going out into the world in search of a new master to serve. Then one Minion named Kevin decides to do something about this. ![]() When their last master is unexpectedly and accidentally killed by you-know-who, they become morose without any purpose. They are bumbling, klutzy little fellows that always seem to find themselves in the middle of mayhem. The movie opens with the evolution of the Minions. What can be said about Kevin, Stuart and Bob? Just that they are adorable, funny and endearing in “Minions,” which is available Tuesday on video. ![]()
